Louise set up Angel Media in 2010 and the company has grown and adapted to the changing face of media.
Louise started working in media after graduating with a BA Hons in Business Management & Sociology from Leeds University in 1997.
After working locally for publishers in her hometown of Sevenoaks, Kent she was head-hunted to work in London in 2008 for publishers launching the UK versions of Shape & Mens Health from the USA into the UK market. This was a fantastic experience working on Wardour Street in Soho and her first step into working with both advertising agencies/PR agencies and clients direct at this level.
From here Louise moved over to work on a beauty magazine, based in London and after a few years of living the London life and enjoying the media scene she made the move up to Manchester to work for the small team at IPC Media (now Time Warner) as Senior Sales Executive across the Fashion & Lifestyle portfolio including Marie Claire and InStyle, Ideal Home & Living Etc. Louise was successful in her role for a number of years receiving various accolades such as Agency Champion and spent time on the IPC Staff Council, representing the Manchester office alongside key members of staff from across the business including the CEO. Louise worked closely with Publishers across particularly the Fashion titles to maximise revenue and strengthen the relationships between the two offices.
After 6 years working here Louise began work at BBC Magazines (now Immediate Media) covering maternity leave for the Sales Manager on BBC Good Homes & Homes and Antiques, working with national clients direct and agencies.
In 2010 Louise set up Angel Media with the intention of spending as much time as possible with her son who was born in 2009 but still working in the media industry she loves. 7 years later the ever changing media and marketing landscape has naturally evolved the business into still some media sales & marketing work but with more focus on digital marketing for businesses both national and local.
"I love marketing, it's where my passion lies. Working in media it was the creative ideas we could come up with for clients and the relationships i forged that spurred me on and excited me. With the growth in digitial marketing it has opened up a whole new world to clients and works fantastically alongside more traditional marketing, as long as it is executed correctly and with a clear strategy! I'm always happy to chat about clients brands and how we can help them grow and stand out amongst their competitors!"
